I received a request from a gentleman for a 49th wedding anniversary card for his wife. He also added that he would like the card to have purple in it. So this is what I went with.
I prepared the card base in white card stock and layered it with purple. An embossed layer in white was then adhered to the purple. This was put aside to work on the focal elements.
Heart dies were used to cut out 4 hearts: one in white fun foam, one in purple vellum, one in white card stock and one in clear vellum (the sentiment was computer generated on the clear vellum and then die cut). The fun foam was adhered to the purple vellum heart and the the white vellum was adhered to the white die cut heart.
Next, flowers were die cut in white card stock and then the edges sponged with purple ink. The flowers were assembled and branches were added using green card stock.
The hearts and flowers were then positioned and adhered to the front panel using dimensionals and glue dots. This completed this project.
Here are the materials used in creating this card:
Card Stock: GKD Pure Luxury White, Wild Lilac, Grass Green
