This cards was inspired by one I viewed on Etsy sold by Egartscrafts. I just loved the autumnal elements on the navy background. I felt it would make a lovely fall birthday card.
My base card was made in white card stock and layered with pearlescent gold paper. Navy card stock was layered over the gold. Next, jute twine has adhered to the card in the form of a wreath. Fall elements were die cut in various colors of card stock. Some, such as the fall leaves, were colored using various inks. I used several different flower dies, dies of fall leaves, berries, an acorn and wheat to decorate the wreath. The happy birthday sentiment was die cut in the pearlescent gold paper and adhered to the center of the wreath.
Here are the products used:
Card Stock: GKD Pure Luxury White, In the Navy; PTI Chocolate Brown; Pearlescent Gold; Various colored card stock for the elements
Dies: IO Wheat, Fall Icon Wreath; Poppy Stamps Layered Pointy Petals, Rubbernecker Mixable Flower Stack, Spellbinders Garden Builder, Cottage Cutz Autumn Sweets, Spellbinders Mini Fall Blooms, Sue Wilson Foliage Pieces, Memory Box Sentimental Happy Birthday
Inks: Yellow, Orange, Green, Red (various brands)
Other: Adhesive, dimensionals, glue dots

I will be making one more fall card before I begin my Christmas cards project
.Hope you'll stop by again. Until then, make someone smile today!
