Wheelbarrow Full of Birthday Wishes

Hello, fellow crafters! This card was created for my sister-in-law whose birthday fell this month.   Putting the wheel barrow together and arranging the tiny flowers and leaves was time consuming but it was worth it. I love how it turned out.

I began by creating the base card in white card stock. This was layered with brown card stock. I die cut a white layer using a Sue Wilson Postage Stamp Frame die and adhered it to the brown layer. This would be the focal panel.

The wheelbarrow was die cut in kraft card stock with Spellbinders Country Wheelbarrow die set. The die cut pieces were sponged with Distress Oxide Gathered Twigs ink and then assembled. The flowers and greenery were die cut with  Spellbinder Garden Builder dies using various colors of card stock. Gold metallic card stock was used to create tiny circles to place in the center of the flowers. The sentiment was computer generated and then die cut in white card stock using a die from Cottage Cutz Crossed Stitched Oval die set.

The next step was to position and adhere all the die cut images to the focal panel. The flowers and greenery were arranged and adhered to the wheelbarrow. The wheelbarrow was then positioned and adhered to the focal panel using dimensionals. A loose floral image was adhered and added to the scene.  Finally, the sentiment was adhered to the card with dimensional foam.

Here are the products used:

Card Stock:  GKD Pure Luxury White, PTI Chocolate Brown, Various colors for the flowers and grenery

Dies:  Sue Wilson Postage Stamp Frame,  Spellbinders Country Wheelbarrow, Spellbinders Garden Builder Die Set, Cottage Cutz Cross Stitched Oval

Other:  Adhesive, dimensionals, Fun Foam

Hope you enjoyed this post. I loved making this scene and was very pleased with the result.

Please stop by next time. Until then, happy crafting!
