Hello everyone! Here is another autumn card I made. This one was for my OSU college roommate (a long time ago) and friend. We share October birthdays, 4 days apart.
I love copper and gold together. I call it "autumn elegance". I love the brilliance of the copper and the soft lustre of the gold. These are the colors I selected for this card.
My base card was created using GKD Ivory card stock. I added a layer of PTI Dark Chocolate and then another layer of GKD Ivory.
For the card front, my focal panel, I used GKD Copper Metallic card stock. The large leaf was cut with Stampin' Up Leaflets Framelits and the smaller leaf with Darice Assorted Leaves die. The wheat stalks were cut using Impression Obsession Wheat die. The leaves and wheat were cut in GKD Gold card stock. The acorn was cut using Memory Box Nutty Acorn die and cut in both copper and gold card stock. All images were adhered with glue dots and dimensionals. A jute bow was added as a final touch.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a creative day!

Well this is just stunning. I love copper and gold together too, and you have used both perfectly here. Great use of the die cuts, and great design. I just really LOVE this card!
This is so beautiful and perfect for a Fall card. I love the colors too. And, I have missed your blog posts and I hope it is just a case of being extra busy and not ill. I always love your work!
