Masculine cards sometimes pose a challenge for me. I find that it's not always an easy task to come up with a design or personal theme that I feel would be just right for that specific male individual. This is the card I made today for an upcoming birthday and which I'm also entering into several challenges.
I used GKD soft sand card stock for my base card. I die cut a layer in GKD blue denim with Spellbinder's Locking Loops and adhered it to the base. Next, I cut a white panel and sponged it with Memento Summer Sky. For my focal image I created a scene using an oak tree (StampScapes), prairie grass (Rubber Stampede), grass border (Rubber Stamp Tapestry) and a howling wolf (GKD Mountain Wilderness). All Images were stamped in Memento Espresso Truffle ink. I stamped another image of the wolf in black ink on a small separate piece of white card stock, cut it out and popped it on the stamped wolf image to give it some dimension. The sentiment is from PTI Butterfly Dreams stamp set.
After the card was completed, I was pleased with the result. I hope my recipient likes it too.
Hope your day is filled with creative and crafty ideas!
