Hello! Welcome to my blog and thank you for stopping by. I design and create handcrafted greeting cards. I like to call this passion of mine "visual poetry" ....imagery on paper. Please feel free to browse the photos of my cards and leave a comment.

Bird Feeder Birthday

This card was made for my daughter's recent birthday. In her back yard she has a red bird feeder (similar to the one on the card) and, living very close to our Metro parks, she has a lot of different birds visiting her yard. She's becoming an expert on birds, where they come from, what time of year and what they feed on.

Here are the products used in creating this card:

Card Stock:  GKD White, Red Hot, Black Onyx, Kraft, Grass Green, Spring Rain; PTI Dark Chocolate

Ink: GKD Innocent Pink (for the flower petal tips), Black Onyx (for the flock of birds)

Dies: Sue Wilson Scalloped Squares; Lawn Fawn Build-a-Bird Feeder, Tree Branches Backdrop; Impression Obsession Fancy Clouds

Other: Flock of birds stamp, Cardinal image, adhesives, dimensionals.

 Thank you for stopping by.

Hope you have a great day creating and enjoying what you create!

Birthday Variety

Hello, fellow crafters! Its been a long while since my last posts. Worked on my Christmas cards from September  on and then, in all the holiday turmoil, forgot to take photos of them before mailing. The cards above were made just recently for friends' birthdays. The last card, the one with the heart shaped box of chocolates, was made for a friend whose birthday falls right on Valentine's Day....thus the heart shape.

Thank for stopping by. Hope you'll stop by often to see what I've been working on.
Have a happy crafting day!
