Because I Care

Hello fellow crafters! I've been away from posting for awhile because of other projects or commitments. Today I would like to share a card I made recently for my brother who underwent radiation therapy for early stage prostate cancer. He is doing well.

The products used for this project are as follows:

Card Stock:  GKD Ivory, GKD Honey Mustard, PTI Dark Chocolate
Stamp:  SU Lovely as a Tree
Dies:  MFTR Inside & Out Diagonal Stitched Rectangle
Inks:  SU Soft Suede, Memento Peanut Brittle, GKD Honey Mustard
Other:  adhesive, dimensional foam tape, sponge daubers, computer generated sentiment

After stamping the tree images, the edges were masked and the panel was sponged except for the bottom edge of the panel which is where my sentiment was computer generated and the leaf branch image stamped. A frame was created around the focal panel using Dark Chocolate card stock and dimensional tape. This was then adhered to the base card which had been layered with Honey Mustard card stock and the Ivory card stock.

I hope you enjoyed this project and were inspired to create.  Thanks for stopping by and leaving any comments. I hope to be posting again soon.  Remember to make it a great day!
