Father's Day

Father's Day is celebrated all over the world, traditions varying from country to country. In the United States Father's Day is celebrated on the 3rd Sunday of June every year. This year it falls on June 16.

This is the card I made for Father's Day. I cut and scored the base card in ivory card stock. Before folding it I embossed it with the largest of the dies from Spellbinders Matting Basics A. I cut and embossed a layer in sage green using the largest die from Spellbinders Matting Basics B and adhered it to the base card. I cut one more layer in ivory from the second largest die from the same B set. The sentiment was  computer generated.

My pine cone image was stamped, colored with copics, and cut out. The image is from GKD Stately Flowers 6 stamp set. The pine branches were cut from green card stock using Impression Obsession dies. The branches were adhered to the ivory layer and the pine cone was popped on with dimensionals.

This card was entered in the following challenge(s):
Joan's Gardens - JG0613
The Outlawz -  Anything Goes - TT061313
Sister Act -  Challenge #10
TTCRD - Anything Goes Jun 11-17
